Please encourage your Vanni brethren to follow TNA lead and vote for Mr Fonseka. Although Mr Fonseka destroyed our movement, he has set on a course of action that will reunite the Tamil and Singhala brethren like the way it was in the 60s when I was growing, may the glory days return!

Freedom cannot be attained through terrorism, freedom will be achieved through reconciliation in a unitary state.

What next?

UN efforts have failed, Norweigan efforts have failed, US efforts have failed? What are we to do stop the gosl killing our brothers and sisters, comments welcome please.

Our protests worked! The gosl has declared a ceasefire, we won!

It was a resounding success!

It was just so ecstatic to be in the middle of what was probably the whole diaspora population in the UK! What an experience, the police did not disturb us one bit and we freely carried our national flag and banners! Let's wait and see what the international reaction is.

Today is the day

Stop the war demo

Friends, are you coming to the demo tomorrow in Westminster. I am travelling down from Birmingham for the weekend to London and staying with my brother. We will all go the demo, I request you not to overtly display our national flag, the British police are getting funny about it, especially after the "anti-terror" raids.

Civilians harrassed in IDP camps

Friends, my relatives who contacted me last week told me that refugees in sri lanka army prison camps are being robbed of their valuables and the sla are running an extortion racket. Money does wonders in these camps, the poor souls give money to sla guys for small favours like buying a packet of cream crackers from outside shops for the poor malnourished children, these guys readily take the money and never ever give the change back. A biscuit packet costs like 300 rupees. Also the poor souls complain about the food (lack of it and its quality) but nothing is being done by it. The videos potrayed in gosl propoganda video are an eyewash.
